Women in Lodging and Tourism Luncheon Recap & Album

On March 10, 2023, we were honored to attend the Women in Lodging & Tourism Luncheon celebrating their awarded Woman of the Year at the Hawaii Convention Center. The Keynote speaker, Lieutenant Governor Luke gave a down-to-earth real-talk, inspiring all with her practical viewpoints of hard work, financial realities in Hawaii, and how women have gained ground in the workforce, respect and power equalities. Her words left us ignited in grace and determination, “It is your responsibility to choose who to be. Define who you are.”

Our Executive Director, Lisa Paulson is honored to be apart of this amazing group of women leading Hawaii to a better future. Thank you, Women in Lodging and Tourism for an amazing luncheon, serving the industry and for bringing awareness to the devastation of sex-trafficking in Hawaii! And finally, congratulations to Carolyn Leina’ala Lopes for winning the WIL 2023 Woman of the Year!

Earlier this year, we co-hosted a tutorial with this group on how to submit testimony and be involved in the legislative process through online resources.
