MHLA Political Action Committee (PAC)

A Unified Voice

The Maui Hotel & Lodging Association PAC supports Hawaii State and Maui County candidates. Through the MHLA PAC we are able to have a unified political voice that enhances our ability to engage our political leaders at the Hawaii State Capitol and Maui County Council. The MHLA PAC is not affiliated with any political party or candidate.

Rules and Regulations

Contributions to the MHLA PAC are voluntary. You may refuse to contribute without fear of reprisal. Contributions are used for political purposes and are not tax deductible as charitable contributions. Contributions made by entities that are party to a contract with the State, any of its counties, or any department or agency thereof, are prohibited. Contributions from foreign nationals or foreign companies are also prohibited.

In accordance with Hawaii State law, we are required to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer or persons who contribute in excess of $100 (in aggregate) during an election period. The contribution limit, for both business and personal contributions, to political action committees is $1,000 (in aggregate) per election period.

• The next Primary Election period runs from November 2025 through August 2025
• The next General Election period runs from August 2026 through November 5, 2026

These are separate campaign cycles and donors may contribute up to $1,000 per election period.
