42nd Excellence in Education Golf Tournament Scholarship Fundraiser a Success!

Much mahalo to everyone who participated in or helped out at the MHLA's 24th Excellence in Education Golf Tournament on August 20th. Thanks to your efforts you have all helped to raise $30,000 in scholarship money for our local high school students.

Many thanks goes out to all of our volunteers from the Maui Junior Golf Association, University of Hawaii Maui College Hospitality Program and especially the staff at Kaanapali Golf Courses for all of their help with tournament operations.

Mahalo also goes out to Southern Glazer's Wines and Spirits of Hawaii, our tournament's presenting sponsor, as well as Waste Pro Hawaii, our platinum sponsor.

Tournament money goes towards scholarship funds for Maui’s Academy of Hospitality & Tourism programs including: the AoHT High School academies, UH Maui College Hospitality and Culinary academies, and the MHLA Member Scholarship.
