Meet the Lahaina Restoration Foundation on November 4th at 12pm HST and learn of plans to rebuild historic landmarks entrusted to the foundation from the age of our Hawaiian Kingdom. Some of Mauiʻs biggest attractions included these buildings like Seamenʻs Hospital, the Old Lahaina Courthouse and the Old Lahaina Prison. Our guest speakers will give detail to the foundations purpose and how it is significant in the rebuild.
Theo Morrison has been the executive director for several non-profits in Lahaina Town over the past 34 years and has been with Lahaina Restoration Foundation for 16 years. Her focus is on keeping history alive and relevant in the Lahaina Historic Districts through innovative community events, programs, and exhibits.
Kimberly Flook is the Deputy Executive Director of Lahaina Restoration Foundation. Her experience includes work at ten historic sites and museums over twenty-three years as a museum professional. At the Lahaina Restoration Foundation, she leads the team that cares for and interprets LRF’s collections and sites.
