Mana’o Radio Celebrates 23 Years with a Disco Bash!
KIHEI, Maui – Get ready to boogie down and celebrate 23 years of independent, listener-supported radio! Mana’o Radio proudly presents “Disco on the Deck: A 70s Groove Celebration,” happening Saturday, March 22nd, from 6:00-9:00 PM at The Altitude Deck on the rooftop of Kihei Charter School.
This unforgettable evening of funk, soul, and disco magic will feature the electrifying Shea Derrick and the Full Flavor Band, delivering high-energy throwback hits guaranteed to keep the dance floor packed. Adding to the night’s retro vibes, DJ Chris Ca’ryn—host of Mana’o Radio’s own Heart Rhythm show—will spin classic 70s beats to keep the groove alive.
Guests are encouraged to don their best disco-era attire—think bell bottoms, sequins, and platform shoes—and dance under the stars in true Studio 54 style!
Tickets are $45 and available now at manaoradio.com. As a non-commercial, all-volunteer station, a portion of the event’s proceeds will support Mana’o Radio’s mission to bring diverse, high-quality music programming to Maui and beyond.
“This is more than just a party—it’s a celebration of community, music, and the power of independent radio,” said event organizers. “Mana’o Radio has been grooving strong for 23 years, and we’re excited to celebrate with our incredible listeners and supporters!”
