We hope you can join us in helping our next generation of leaders in Hawaii learn more about careers here at home to reach not just economic self-sufficiency but their dreams!

ClimbHI is inviting you to the 13th annual Leadership Exploration Inspiration (LEI) Exposure Fairs to share your enthusiasm and inspiration as an industry leader. This portion of the day will be structured as a speed-dating style Exposure Fair with up to 10 students allowed at each organization for a 5-minute engagement and interactive session, followed by a 1-minute transition. Please be prepared to engage and inspire students for the 5 minutes; entities have been creative over the years with activities, images, props, snacks, games, etc. All businesses and industries are welcome to participate. Giveaways for the students at your table are greatly appreciated. A $50 donation per island is being requested this year to help cover costs for the event. Payment details will be shared once participation is confirmed. Set-up for each event begins 1-hour before the start time.

Programs vary by island. Here are the dates, locations, capacity of students, and times for each:

April 14- Hawaii Convention Center 1:45pm-2:45pm (600 students)

April 17- Sheraton Maui 1:45pm-2:45pm (160 students)

April 22- Sheraton Kauai 12:30pm-1:30pm (120 students)

April 25- Waikoloa Beach Marriott 11am-12:00pm (120 students); if you'd like to join the luncheon with the students from 12pm-1pm, please rsvp in the form for this portion of the event.

April 29- Castle Hilo Hawaiian 9:45am-12:00pm (120 students); if you'd like to join the luncheon with the students from 12pm-1pm, please rsvp in the form for this portion of the event.

Background

LEI is a project celebrating its 13^th anniversary to inspire Hawaiʻi youth to select careers in the Hawaiʻi visitor industry by providing them with the necessary means to achieve success. From the students’ perspective LEI represents an opportunity for Leadership, Exploration, and Inspiration, and from the hospitality industry’s perspective LEI provides an opportunity to Lead, Expose, and Inspire Hawaiʻi’s youth. LEI 2025 will take place in five locations (April 14 in Honolulu, April 17 in Ka‘anapali, April 22 in Poipu, April 29 in Hilo, and April 25 in West Hawai‘i) on four different islands (Maui, Oʻahu, Kauaʻi, and Hawai‘i Island), include 1,000 high school and college students from across the state, and involve over 100 businesses.
