Destination Management Action Plan Community Meetings 2025

You are invited to the upcoming Destination Management Action Plan Community Meetings hosted by the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority on the following dates, all from 6pm-8pm. The focus of these gatherings will be the development of the next Destination Management Action Plan (DMAP) for each island, Maui, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi. For context, here is a link to the first Maui Nui Destination Management Action Plan which spanned from 2021-2023. Here is a link to a presentation about some of the work and results from this first plan.

As we continue the process of gathering input from the community for the next DMAP, we would be grateful to hear your manaʻo. This new plan will concentrate on managing and stewarding “hotspots”—areas with high visitor density—and your perspective is valuable to this discussion.
