General Manager of Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa

Yamazaki has been general manager of Sheraton Maui for over twelve years and has worked in the hotel industry for more than thirty years. Prior to the Sheraton Maui, he worked as general manager at Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay. Yamazaki is originally from Tokyo and started his hotel career there, before coming to Hawaii in 1994. Yamazaki attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, earning his master’s degree in travel industry management while simultaneously working at a hotel in Waikiki. He now raises his family in Maui and is involved in many community causes, including acting as past chairman of the Maui County Charity Walk.
