Josh Hargrove is the General Manager of the Westin Maui Resort & Spa overseeing all operations for the 769 room oceanfront resort. He also serves as Chairman of the Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association (HLTA). In his previous role, Josh was the General Manager for the 563 room Prince Waikiki hotel as well as the 27 hole, Hawaii Prince Golf Club. Prior to joining Prince Waikiki, Josh held a variety of executive & senior leadership roles at some of Hawaii’s finest hotels including Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas, The Modern Honolulu, The Royal Hawaiian, The Sheraton Kona, and The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa.

During his 17 years of experience in Hawaii’s hospitality industry, Josh has established himself as a highly effective leader who prides himself on the collaborative and people first culture that he develops with his team.

Josh obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality & Business Management from Washington State University. Originally from Washington State, he moved to Hawaii in 2006 to pursue his hotel career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. In addition to his role with HLTA, Josh also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Hawaii Nature Center.
