Edwin Torres serves as General Manager at the OUTRIGGER Kāʻanapali Beach Resort, bringing more than two decades of global hospitality leadership to his role. A seasoned hotelier, Edwin has spent the past six years in Hawaiʻi (four on Oʻahu and the last two on Maui) guiding teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

His career journey spans diverse destinations and cultures, with food and beverage executive positions in Puerto Rico, the British Virgin Islands, Guam, Maryland, and Alabama. In Hawaiʻi, he has excelled as a general manager, leading with a balance of operational expertise and genuine aloha.

Edwin has worked with some of the most recognized names in the hospitality industry, including Hyatt, Marriott, Starwood, and OUTRIGGER, where he continues to champion the company’s commitment to local culture and warm hospitality.

When he’s not on property, you’ll often find Edwin exploring Maui’s scenic roads on his motorcycle or traveling the world with his wife, Yaya, in search of new experiences and inspiration.
