Christine Christensen, the Director of Membership & Events, has over 8 years in MHLA and over 20 years in the hospitality industry. In addition to nonprofit work, she has experience in events management, fundraising, community outreach, accounting and office administration. Christine is a member of Hālau Keʻalaokamaile of 20+ years. Prior to event management she also performed in the world renown, ʻUlalena of the Maui Theatre in Lāhainā for 11 years. When not at work, Christine enjoys community events, working on her Kula home, her husband’s culinary dishes and traveling with her family.
