Chef, Tails Up Maui & Cutting Edge Catering
Chef Brian Etheredge has been captivated by the culinary world since he was 13 years old. Delving into the world of elite restaurants after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, he arrived in Maui in 1998 where he opened the award-winning restaurant Capische, received high recognition and acclaim offering private chefs and on and off premise catering, and provided food service for the beautiful Wailea Hotel in Maui.
Brian has since won awards such as Maui Chef of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, and Most Romantic Restaurant, as well as opened Private Maui Chef and Cutting Edge Catering. In response to the recent Maui fires, Brian joined the community organization, Chef Hui, feeding where needed. As a commercial fisherman, he currently co-owns and operates the Paukukalo born, Tails Up Maui, and serves on the Maui Wedding and Events Association board. He is also a proud husband and father.
