Membership
The Maui Hotel & Lodging Association (MHLA) is the legislative arm of the visitor industry. Our membership includes approximately 140 property and allied members - all of whom have an interest in the visitor industry. Collectively, MHLA’s membership employs over 10,000 Maui County residents.

Scholarships
The Maui Hotel & Lodging Association's (MHLA) scholarship program is designed to encourage the Visitor Industry as a career and profession in Hawaii; and to provide financial assistance to students whose chosen career path is within the Industry.
We offer three types of scholarships. (Click on Scholarship title to download application)
- AOHT High School Scholarship - Awarded to applicants who have participated in the Academy of Hospitality & Tourism program and whose major post-secondary educational objective is within the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.
- AOHT Alumni Scholarship - Awarded to applicants who are alumni of the Academy of Hospitality & Tourism program on Maui and whose major post-secondary education is within the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.
- MHLA Membership Scholarship - Awarded to part-time and full-time employees and/or their children of Property or Allied Members in good standing with the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association.
